Ocular Imaging

Ocular imaging is a non-invasive process in which a high-resolution digital camera captures incredibly detailed images of your retina. These pictures allow your optometrist to spot and monitor slight abnormalities within your eyes, from small vitreous detachments to the more serious symptoms of vision-threatening eye conditions.

The process takes only a few seconds and we can immediately show you the results, giving you unprecedented insight into your retinal health. Over time these images enable us to build a detailed picture of your eye health and monitor for small changes over the years.

If you’d like to request an ocular imaging appointment as part of your routine eye examination, simply request online or give us a ring on 024 7671 1620.
